WASHINGTON, DC –Today, WPA Intelligence, a national leader in data science, survey research and digital strategy, is pleased to announce the addition of Travis Griffin in the role of Client Strategist. He will be running operations in Texas out of the WPAi offices in Austin.
Griffin joins WPAi with over two decades of political experience from the local, state and national level, as well as years of experience in the realm of public affairs. Travis has expertise in campaigning as he worked on numerous campaigns for the Texas House, Texas Senate, U.S. Congress and statewide offices, as well as several Presidential races.
Most recently Griffin launched his own public relations firm, Griffin & Associates LLC, that advised a diverse group of political candidates, elected officials, non-profit organizations, trade associations and issue-advocacy campaigns, as well as businesses with government relations.
Prior to his work at Griffin & Associates, Travis managed George P. Bush’s campaign for Texas Land Commissioner and served as the Political Director of the Republican Party of Texas. He has also managed field operations for the Republican Party of Texas, President George W. Bush, and Governor Rick Perry.
“Travis brings years of experience and political acumen to our firm. His relationships and deep understanding of the Texas political landscape is invaluable especially as we head into the 2020 cycle,” said Chris Wilson, CEO of WPAi.
Griffin added, “I am excited to be joining the WPAi team. Now more than ever, campaigns need a concise and innovative approach to traditional polling enlightened by a modern data program. This is what WPAi brings to the table.” He added, “It is especially imperative to maintain our Texas stronghold, and I look forward to contributing my lifelong experience to the firm and its clients.”

In 2018 our predictive analytics tools were a key element of the RNC Voter Scores program and predicted the margins in numerous races with unmatched accuracy.
In 2019 WPAi launched a corresponding digital practice providing clients the ability to take insights further through online persuasion and mobilization advertising. This is an offering through which WPAi is uniquely adept, able to assist with the development and deployment of data models to ensure full quality control of any executed program. By integrating opinion research, data analytics, digital strategy and placement, WPAi provides clients with an end-to-end campaign approach.
WPAi has been nationally recognized for providing cutting edge intelligence to help our clients win. The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) awarded WPAi “Pollies” for our Predictive Analytics and Adaptive Sampling techniques and our groundbreaking data-focused social media application “Leonardo.” In addition, WPAi received a “Reed Award” for building the most expansive, optimized field program in GOP politics on behalf of Abbott for Governor in 2018.
