Zully Duarte is a first generation American with a drive for servant leadership. He was born in Purcell and raised in Pauls Valley Oklahoma. Being the first in his family to graduate college, he graduated with a B.A in Political Science at Oklahoma State University where he was involved in various student organizations.
During the course of his academic years Zully has earned experience in the political field. After volunteering his time and energy to various congressional and senatorial campaigns, he was hired as a field representative for U.S. Senator James Lankford’s campaign. He provided field assistance and organizational effectiveness during his time with Families for James Lankford.
Since the 2022 midterm election, Zully had accepted the position of Executive Assistant with the Oklahoma Office of the State Treasurer. Where he assisted State Treasurer Todd Russ and his staff with the operations that continue to benefit the financial security of his fellow Oklahomans.
Since November 16, 2023, Zully has accepted a position with WPAIntel where he will be a Research Associate.
Zully’s drive for servant leadership stems from the foundation instilled in him from his faith and his humble beginnings in a working-class immigrant family. He hopes to play a role in the continuing growth of Oklahoma to give back to his family and to his fellow Oklahoman.
