Lance Stephens has been tinkering with computers since dial-up and AIM
were a thing. While his parents prohibited him from installing Linux on the
family computer, he got the last laugh when he chose a career field that runs
on Torvalds’ open-source operating system.
Originally hailing from Oklahoma City and graduating with a bachelor’s
degree in political science from Oklahoma State University, Lance has lived
in greater Seattle and Denver working as a client platform engineer, then
DevOps engineer.
In his 10+ year career in IT and development, he has worked for companies
such as Apple, Napster, and Greenhouse Software; he’s excited to join WPA
Intelligence and contribute automation and scaling to their Bonfire platform
as the company grows.
