Jay analyzes survey data, voter data, and commercial data with machine learning algorithms in order to quantify people’s likely preferences and behaviors. He has trained hundreds of models and generated custom targeting universes in every state.
Prior to joining WPAi Jay earned a M.S. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University, where he focused on econometrics and survey research methodology. Jay started out in management consulting after completing a B.S. in Business Economics from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, then spent five years as a legislative staffer on Capitol Hill working on policy and communication strategy.
Jay volunteers as faculty at the Leadership Institute where he trains liberty lovers how to explore data with R. He is a parishioner at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Arlington, Virginia with his wife Kelsey and their baby boy James.
