As a digital strategy and marketing intern with WPA Intelligence, you will become a cornerstone of all that WPA has to offer. Working with our Digital team and alongside our research and data departments, the intern will be given numerous opportunities to learn about the political data industry and make an impact for our clients.

Whether providing an opportunity to utilize our digital analytics platforms or help market WPA Intelligence to our political and corporate clients, we hope to make this internship as rewarding as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design and Marketing Collateral Creation;
  • Social Media Content Creation;
  • Digital Platform Analytics;
  • Collaborate with digital team, clients, and partners on strategies and projects;
  • Work with our research and data teams on memos and presentations for clients;
  • Creation of a final project, utilizing the skills you have learned to build a product/presentation of your own.

Intern Qualifications:

  • Has a passion for politics, policy, campaigns, and elections;
  • Reads poll results and cares about the latest in who’s winning and losing and what issues matter to voters and our clients;
  • Currently enrolled in a university, or bachelors/equivalent degree;
  • Marketing or Graphic Design experience preferred;
  • Does not fear numbers or trying new technologies;
  • Working knowledge of at least two of the following: SQL, R, Excel, Office, PowerPoint, Canva, MailJet, WordPress, or equivalent programs;
  • Political or digital marketing experience preferred, but not required;
  • Can clearly and intelligently communicate him/herself in writing;
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced office setting with collaboration, debate, and Nerf gun fights.
